Adjunct Lecturer, Consultant Psychologist

As the co-founder of children and youth organization, Groundworks, Claire is in charge of designing emotional learning and character educational programs for youth and children. At Groundworks, Claire also delivers coaching programs for teachers and mentors alike at Hwa Chong International School, as well as conducting one to one coaching session with youth and their parents. Being an experienced coach, Claire is inclined towards helping others flourish in both their professional and personal relationships. Her time as a consultant executive in organizational development has allowed her to conduct and facilitate training sessions on coaching and leadership. Having worked in the National Youth Council (NYC), Claire was in charge of corporate development and the implementation of their holistic Employee Engagement Framework. This includes the promotion of learning and innovation, a vital part of a working organizational culture. As such, Claire is an exceptional leader in the field of coaching and mentorship as well as excelling in organizational behavior learning modules.

Facilitating wellbeing through better awareness, relationships, engagement and meaning is Jana’s passion. As a positive psychology practitioner, Jana is an advocate of a strengths-based approach in guiding individuals, organisations and communities towards flourishing. Her multidisciplinary background in theatre, communication, positive psychology, coaching and meditation has fashioned her expertise in developing and delivering programmes for culturally unique situations to create positive change. Jana earned her Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology at the Anglia Ruskin University (UK) with a focus on Psychological Capital and Mindfulness. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Positive Organisational Psychology and Leadership by The School of Positive Psychology in Singapore, where she is currently a faculty member. Jana’s philosophy is that our internal world is a powerful force in how we show up in the external world. To be fully engaged in all aspects of our lives, we have to train our mind, build positive relationships and follow our passion.
Deborah Thurley

Deborah is a graduate of our Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Organisational Psychology and Leadership (PGDPOPL) programme, and holds a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology.  She is a qualified meditation and mindfulness trainer and lecturer with many years of teaching and mentoring experience, offering established mindfulness workshops and tailored mindfulness programs to organizations, institutions and schools.  Deborah also teaches mindful yoga to adults and youth.  She is an engaging, experienced instructor and her teaching style is clear and concise. She lives, works and celebrates in Singapore.

Tara Schofield is one of our graduates from the School of Positive Psychology Graduate Diploma of Positive Psychology. She comes from a Human Resources Management and Training background, with strong international experience in NGO’s, Education, Retail, Government and Corporate workplaces. Tara’s passion is helping people to realize their full potential, both personally and professionally. Tara is mother of two active children and uses positive parenting principles to enrich her family’s well-being. Being a gregarious learner, she has graduated with a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) as she constantly believes in growing and excelling. Beyond her own academic success, Tara is highly engaged in the education of Positive Psychology and study of resilience. Tara endeavors to connect individuals to become a better version of themselves and has embarked on a special mission to bring positive psychology to greater heights. Tara is undoubtedly skilled in the areas of training, having conducted workshops on resilience building and emotional intelligence for corporate companies and schools. To enable better leadership and organizational thriving, he dedicated himself to utilizing the science and interventions within positive organizational psychology to enable better leadership and organizational thriving. Henrik holds an MSc of Applied Positive Psychology and advanced degrees in Organizational Psychology & Leadership, as well as in Psychotherapy and Counseling. Stephen holds a MSc Applied Positive Psychology with a focus in Organisational Psychology and Leadership.
