Psychotherapy Day

Discover how psychotherapy techniques foster meaningful relationships and help others elevate their wellbeing.

Which connections hold significance in your life? How do you nurture important relationships — with your loved ones and yourself?

This Global Day of Parents on 1 June, let’s reflect on the bonds we cherish. From family to friends, human connections profoundly shape our wellbeing. Often, it is assumed that we would be able to naturally connect with the people closest to us because of proximity or familiarity.

This, however, is far from the truth.

Building healthy and meaningful connections is like riding a bicycle. Without practice and effort, it can be hard to pick it up. Similarly, besides being a skill that needs to be taught, building relationships that elevate wellbeing needs consistent effort. From gaining a perspective of how others approach mental wellbeing, to navigating the impact our pasts may have on our present relationships, these issues can hinder us from forming connections and helping others elevate their wellbeing.

Join us on 1 June 2024, 1 – 5pm for a time of learning and exploration at The School of Positive Psychology’s Psychotherapy Day. Get ready for a deep exploration of yourself- from the experiences you have, the perspectives you hold, and the emotions you feel. Through insightful sessions and engaging workshops, this half-day event will explore the benefits of psychotherapy in personal and professional settings, uncovering how psychology-informed techniques can be used to better the relationships that matter most to you.
