Inspiring Evenings: Let’s Talk Mind-Body Connection
Have you ever wondered why your stomach starts churning before an exam, or as you prepare to do a public speech in front of 85 strangers? Or, why does the migraine that you get every so often mysteriously disappears when you’re on vacation? Why some people are more prone to chronic illnesses than others? Is it all in the genes, or does the environment play a role?
Both chronic and acute stress affects our body in ways we might not even be aware of. The effects of stress are even more detrimental if we repress our emotions and stressful feelings. Over time, if we remain unaware, repression becomes a norm of us.Come join Inin for an exciting discovery of the connection between the mind and the body! You will learn how to identify subtle emotions, and feel a greater sense of balance between psychological and physical awareness. Find out for yourself the next time you get that persisting tension headache, if there’s anything else you can do to help your body heal itself.
