Happiness In Unexpected Places: Online Talk + Preview

Happiness In Unexpected Places: Online Talk + Preview
We typically expect to feel happy when we attain mainstream success, such as meeting academic, career, financial, and familial expectations.
However, did you know that happiness can also sneak up on us in unexpected ways? Sometimes, we can find happiness where we least expect it. Positive Psychology research has shown that being present and aware, giving and savouring can serve as random sparks of joy.
Serving the community can also provide us happiness, as well as reflecting upon the use of our time.
Genuine acts of love could bring us contentment, but even hard times could bring us happiness as well, through the concept of post-traumatic growth where we will further discuss in our talk.
Be ready to find happiness in unexpected places!
In this complimentary online talk, you will discover:
  1. What exactly defines happiness, and how is it relevant to us during hard times?
  2. Based on research, how can happiness find us instead of us searching for it?
  3. How the science of Positive Psychology works with happiness and the importance of it
The talk will be followed by the Course Previews of Positive Psychology programmes.
Our Course Previews are non-obligatory information sessions for prospective students to learn about the various programmes offered at The School of Positive Psychology. We would love to help you jumpstart a meaningful career!
What is the online course preview about?
This is an opportunity for anyone interested in TSPP’s courses to learn more about the course structure, career pathways and entry requirements.
After a presentation by our consultant, attendees will be able to participate in a Q&A session, and learn more about admissions procedures.
