The School of Positive Psychology

Psychotherapy Course Preview

Explore our academic pathways and discover how we can prepare you for a career in mental health.

If you’ve ever wondered about how you can embark on a fulfilling job helping others, our psychotherapy programmes will equip you to better understand the intricate workings of mind and behaviour.

According to the 2023 Skillsfuture Job-Skills Insights report, job postings for counsellors in Singapore skyrocketed from 1,000 in 2012 to 16,000 in 2022, highlighting the growing demand for psychotherapists and counsellors.

Psychotherapists and counsellors are vital in helping individuals tackle a variety of challenges, from anxiety and relationship issues, to complex conditions like depression.

This course preview will showcase our comprehensive psychotherapy curriculum, and dive into how it equips aspiring psychotherapists with the theories and techniques to implement mental health strategies for their clients, and even themselves.

Join Mr. Stephen Lew, Founder and CEO of The School of Positive Psychology, a psychotherapist and coach, as he shares what it is like studying psychotherapy at TSPP and insights on being a practitioner.

What is the course preview about?

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in our psychotherapy programmes to learn more about the course structure, career pathways and entry requirements.

After a presentation on the course, attendees will be able to participate in a Q&A session, and learn more about admissions procedures.
