Could positive education be a step towards sustainable wellbeing in Singapore? At The School of Positive Psychology, we want to be part of the solution for sustainable mental health, and our Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Education Strategies (PGDPES) is specially designed to help our educators to bring out the best in themselves and the students they teach.
The PGDPES programme will teach educators about the art and science of positive psychology and how it can be applied to the education context. This qualification is the first of its type in Asia and it provides educators with sound knowledge to understand wellbeing, and how to use evidence-based techniques to promote positive wellbeing in youths.
Join us on 1 Jun 2020 at 7pm SGT (GMT +8) for a preview session with programme leader, Dr Ilona Boniwell as she shares:
- How Positive Psychology can be applied in educational settings.
- An overview of the PGDPES course programme at The School of Positive Psychology.
- How educators can use positive education to prepare students to navigate life by cultivating their strengths, maximising their wellbeing, and developing their skills to effectively cope with inevitable challenges.
We welcome all educators who are interested in helping students to bring out their best to join us for this online preview session. If you would like to know more about the PGDPES programme or the preview, contact us at bernie@positivepsych.edu.sg
